“Doc, Rij it's a very good listener followed up with answers find a solution to what was going on with me as well as other health situation was very careful on what was prescribed set me up with physical therapy for my ankle he is a very caring doctor very compassionate and also has passion for what he does. Also Jason the intake coordinator is very compassionate as well when taking x-rays and making sure that I was very comfortable.”

Dr. Raj Prabhakar is a South Florida native and skilled foot and ankle surgeon specializing in sports medicine, minimally invasive procedures, and trauma care. Dr. Prabhakar earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Barry University and completed his residency at Mercy Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident.
A former collegiate basketball player at Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Prabhakar is passionate about sports medicine. He further refined his expertise during a fellowship with the Miami HEAT and Inter Miami CF, treating professional athletes and performing advanced procedures, including bunion corrections, Achilles repairs, and regenerative medicine techniques. His personal experiences as an athlete give him a unique perspective, allowing him to connect deeply with patients and provide specialized care tailored to their active lifestyles.
Dedicated to patient trust and community engagement, Dr. Prabhakar has been involved with the Special Olympics for over a decade. At Modern Foot & Ankle’s Lake Worth office, he strives to help patients achieve their goals and return to the activities they love most.

Fast check in on my first visit. I waited less than five minutes in the exam room for the doctor. He took the time to listen to me, examine, treat and educate me on my foot pain. He also gave very clear verbal and written instructions for home care. I highly recommend. Dr. Prabhakar!
