About Dr. Rajendra Prasad
Dr. Raj Prasad has been in service since January 2000, serving Los Angeles and neighboring communities with his specialties. He is very active in community service and was the former President of the Indian Medical Association for three years. He is also on the staff of Cedars Sinai Medical Centre, Brotman Medical Centre, Olympia Medical Centre, and Kindred Hospital in Los Angeles.
He earned his Residency in International Medicine at the University of Illinois Mercy Hospital and Medical Centre, Chicago, IL.
His interest in research began while working as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Rizzoli Institute, Bologna, Italy (1989-1990), and as a Research Assistant in the Department of Surgical Oncology and Pathology at UCLA Medical Centre - Orthopaedic Hospital, Los Angeles, CA (1990-1995). These experiences earned him ?The Young Scientist? Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Prasad's medical education started at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He then attended Medical School at the University Rajasthan School of Medicine, Jaipur, India, earning his M.D. (1977-1985). This was followed by an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University Rajasthan School of Medicine, Jaipur, India (1985-1989). He completed a Transitional Year at Marshall University Medical Center, Huntington, WV (1995-1996), and finally his Medical Residency in International Medicine at the University of Illinois Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, Chicago, IL (1996-1999).

I showed up for my appointment. I went to be told that my appointment had been canceled. No notice. Then after I left someone from the office just called me and said they wanted to remind me about my appointment. There’s no communication between staff members.
