It really felt like I was being dismissed when Ms. Sharma told me to just think positive whenever I was having intrusive thoughts causing me anxiety. I already deal with negative self talk about how I have no business being upset with my situation, but hearing it from a professional that I should be happy I don’t have to work and can be a stay at home mom shook me to my core.
