“There was a bit of a wait prior to actually having my session with the doctor. Very busy and active front so this caused the delay in my appointment. Perhaps there were too many appointments scheduled too closely together, not certain. Otherwise it was a very nice visit. As a first time patient, my experience was calm, clear information was provided and the doctor was very approachable. She explained everything clearly and asked if I had any questions repeatedly. Staff was also very nice and cordial. The doctor apologized for the long wait and explained the situation, I appreciated the acknowledgment. Going back in 3 weeks for follow up so I'll see if my experience is the same at that time.”

Dr. Rakhil Rubinova DO is an endocrinologist with over 10 years of experience who runs her own practice out of Rego Park, NY. She has extensive education and expertise in the field of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. She started her education with a degree in Family Nutrition Sciences out of CUNY, Queens College. She received her medical degree from NYIT’s New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Rubinova completed her residency in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Queens with additional year as a Chief resident. She worked as an Academic hospitalist in NYP/Queens prior to embarking on her subspecialty fellowship. She concluded her training with a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism in Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
She holds dual board certifications in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology & Metabolism. She has extensive experience in treatment of diabetes and diabetes related complications, obesity and weight management, thyroid and parathyroid disease, osteoporosis and bone mineral disorders, PCOS and infertility, adrenal disorders, and male health. She has expertise in the use of technology such as pumps and continuous glucose monitors in treatment of diabetes. She is enthusiastic, thorough and consistent with her patient assessments and care.

On my first visit, I had a nice experience with the staff and the doctor as well. I was able to have proper communication about my health condition with the doctor and express how my past experience with certain medicines helped me and didn’t help me, so she could take them into consideration when prescribing me next time, and offer me alternative options if need be.

The front end staff always polite. The doctor is always very throug. I have been coming to her over a year. Threre is 3 people in my family thats diabetic and I bring them to see her. Will keep coming.
