The support staff seemed frazzled. I waited in the reception room for over 30 minutes (asked once about the wait time) and then when I was finally taken in the RN said that she was looking at the patient schedule for Thursday, not Tuesday.

The doctor was great. The wait was insane -- over two hours to be seen. The office was completely overbooked. It's a big inconvenience to be kept waiting for that long even though the doctor was excellent.

Once the doctor came the visit went at a good pace. The wait was long before he came given that the MFA has a policy of cancelling an appointment if the patient is more than 15 minutes late. With that policy patients should not be waiting for more than 15 minutes for the doctor to show up. Instead GWMFA places the patient in the room and then the patient waits for sometimes more than an hour before the doctor shows up in the room. That must change.

Front desk people are rude and not welcoming. Doctor himself was knowledgeable, but didn't bother explaining me my diagnosis and the treatment plan he had on mind.

He is a fine doctor. I have seen him for years. This particular appointment was disorienting. I was put in a room and sat in it for an hour and the doctor seemed surprised I was there and not fully ready for me. Then I had some bloodwork done. The computer was down and the faculty seemed overworked and again disorienting not knowing what was up.

My first visitHe was excellent. He had an assistance type all of his comments into the computer, so he could look at and focus on my concerns. He was knowledgeable about my current medication. He explained the before he started. He detailed options for the next step and what the side effects could be.
