“Dr. Asmar was great. I thought he was a good: listener, explainer, and brainstormer of what was going on with me, and we left with clear next steps on my treatment.
The office was run very well and everyone was very nice and helpful. I was rapidly signed up, in for blood work, basic vitals, and then in the visit, and this was even during a really busy morning for them.
I was also impressed with this location's on-site lab that can do blood and metabolic analyses while you wait - pretty cool.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Asmar and this location.”

About Dr. Ramsey Asmar
Dr. Ramsey Asmar is board-certified in Hematology and Oncology.
Dr. Asmar is a seasoned practitioner dedicated to providing the highest quality, patient-centric care with great compassion. He treats all malignancies and blood disorders, with a focus on lung cancer and gastrointestinal malignancies.
After earning his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, Dr. Asmar attended Wayne State University Medical School, where he graduated with distinction. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Michigan. During his four years on the clinical faculty at Michigan, he served as the Director of their Hematology Hospitalist program.
Dr. Asmar completed his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center / New York Presbyterian Hospital. While at Columbia, he authored several peer-reviewed articles, helped design clinical trials, and led various research initiatives for novel strategies in the treatment of lung cancer.

Dr Asmar was extremely attentive and was explicative for the whole appointment. Professional , highly rated. I would recommend truly!
The CONS: his office staff was extremely unprofessional, not with the patient but with eachother. Verbally yelling at eachother and making comments infront of patients was very unsettling. More so the trainee was very disrespectful!

From the valet parking to the phlebotomist to the intake screening to the immediate availability of blood work to the consultation, which was comprehensive and compassionate, this was an exceptional experience. I have never seen a specialist consultation work as well. A thorough picture of my situation was presented, details were elaborated upon, possible diagnoses and treatment options were discussed and a follow-up was scheduled. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Asmar.d
