About Rana Hassan
Rana Hassan, PA-C is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience in medical, cosmetic, laser and surgical dermatology. Rana completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Spanish. She then completed her graduate studies at Arcadia University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she received a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, including specialized dermatology training. Rana is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has been practicing as a physician assistant in dermatology since her graduation in 2003. Rana is licensed by the state of Maryland and Virginia to practice dermatology as part of Dr. Maragh’s team. Rana collaborates closely with Dr. Maragh to optimize patient care. She is qualified to diagnose and prescribe medications for patients and to perform dermatologic surgery, laser and cosmetic procedures including Botox and fillers. Rana is dedicated to patient education and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Went in for a skin concern that wasn’t clearing with the prescription I was given by my PCP (she did tell me if it didn’t clear to see a dermatologist). Booked because of 4.9 rating. All of my questions were answered and Lana’s instructions were clear about my follow up care. Office was very clean and office staff was courteous

I would highly recommend this office. Everyone was friendly, professional and attentive to my needs. I was able to get an appointment within a few days (not months like other places). Rana Hassan and Heidi listened to my concerns and explained what was going on and how they planned to treat it.

You still need to bring insurance information even if it’s provided through zoc doc. They didn’t tell me about a copay up front but I’m not sure if they’re sending a charge later.
