I felt so much better just talking to him. He asked me questions that once I answered them I felt he understood me better. I am going to see him again. I look forward to the next visit.
He not only prescribes good medication , he also counsels his patients . I love dr lane
Dr. Lane was very pleasant and professional. So far, I really like him. I love that he uses ZocDoc b/c it is so convenient to schedule appointments with him.
Dr. Lane is so warm and welcoming. He is very caring and asks questions that showed me that he wants to know why I feel the way that I do. Very easy going and professional. I highly recommend him to anyone who really needs someone that will treat your symptoms and talk to you about your feelings and thoughts.
Great Doc! Love seeing him about my personal issues. I'm always in and out and he helps me in any way I need help! Great doc for those who suffer from adult ADHD.
Dr. Lane is an experienced doctor who does both pharmacology and psychotherapy. I trust his care and treatment.
He was very thorough with his questions about myself, my family, and my everyday life...past and present. He was attentive and kind.
He was genuinely interested in my best interest and me as a person. I was not just a paycheck. He was thoughtful in getting to know me.
Dr Lane listen to me and did not rush me. I plan on seeing him on a regular basis. He took what I said with a serious note. Thats what I am in need of right now.
My teenage daughter really liked him. She felt comfortable talking with him.
You can discuse anything with him, I felt very comfortable in his office.
My appointment with Dr. Lane could not have gone better. He shook my hand & introduced himself which immediately made me feel welcome & comfortable. I have never felt comfortable enough to be completely honest about every issue I need help with however Dr. Lane gave me the feeling that this highly educated man has the knowledge, wisdom & seemed genuinly intrested in assisting me. He gained my trust with his confidence. He is out of my healthcare network, I did not mind paying out of pocket. The feeling I left his office with was more peace than I have known for a while. He treated me as a valuable person who is sick not someone that has lost their mind. He gave a hopeless person hope in an hour. The out of network fee was worth every dime. I cannot find more words to articulate how appreciative I am to him & I have never recommended a Dr with higher regard.
He is a great listener who focuses on helping you.
Dr. Lane was extremely professional. He covered many bases in my first session to generally understand my concerns. Professional and calm demeanor helped me relax and I appreciate the time he took to see me.
My first visit was amazing. I've never been to a psychiatrist that Actually listened and did NOT take notes, with that said, that does not mean he is not doing his job! It means he is LISTENING and OBSERVING YOU on how you react to his questions and watches your movements, and he makes suggestions to work* on. What NO other doctors do anymore. He does not sit behind his desk and write you scripts like the other "candy" doctors(as I call them). He wants the best for you and he does not need to write your life down on paper or type it up, he wants to observe your progression and ONLY YOU can change YOUR WAYS. There is NO PILL FOR A BAD* LIFESTYLE. But medication is needed to help get the right receptors firing in your brain sometmes and in serious conditions. As for the bad reviews I read, it seemed like they wanted a "quick fix", sorry, but you still have to work hard at changing your OWN life. He can not live your life for you. He is a Great psychiatrist AND therapist... so if you are wanting "candy", leave this man alone and check yourself into an addiction center. And most importantly, it could take a lifetime to undo certian issues, but that's up to you to PRACTICE coping skills everyday to change your conditions as well as take your medication the RIGHT WAY! He deserves 10 stars on doing his job the right way
Dr. Lane is the only psychiatrist I have had that truly listens and cares. He does not type or write anything until the end of your appointment, he actually has a face-to-face conversation with you. Doctors like him are few and far between - I can't remember the last time a doctor wasn't furiously writing, typing, or texting while I discussed personal matters. Unbelievable the difference it makes going to a doctor who genuinely expresses empathy.
I have been a patient of Dr. Lane for three years. He is a caring, considerate, professional, and top-notch doctors. I would give my highest recommendation to anyone looking for help with mental illness and/or any type of counseling. Thank you to Dr. Lane for all he has done to help me.
My visit today was great! I am indeed experiencing good recovery out of the excellent professional care that I have received in the last couple of months.
I think Dr Lane is professional, very patient, very compassionate and he understands my clinical needs and challenges.
Dr. Lane is a wonderful psychiatrist and doctor. He listens to everything I say. I always feel comforted when I leave.
Dr Lane was calm and very professional. He asked insightful questions and gave me confidence in his diagnosis. I highly recommend
Very flexible with my crazy schedule. Very knowledgeable.
I felt respected, the Dr doctor took time to listen to me and addressed my issues professionally.
Dr. Lane was super attentive and very thorough! I love the Saturday availability and billing process as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Lane.
I am happy and satisfied.I am progressing well.
My experience with Dr. Lane was nothing more than a paid-for friend. He took very minimal notes, if any. At one point, he encouraged me to travel to see my family and engage with them as part of my mental healing. In our final conversation, he told me I should not have traveled, or spent time with family if I was really depressed. But that I should have stayed home and been in his office more. Then he hung up on me. Enormous lack of attention to details or demonstrating performance excellence. Created more of a problem for me, than a help to me. I have a full review, with more information, posted on Google.
Seems like a great doc. Hard to say after just one visit but I want to see him more for sure. A gentleman and professional. Carries himself well and ask questions without giving away what he is thinking.
Kind, comforting, and saw me right away.
Dr. Lane is a very good dr he listens to everything you have to say and never makes you feel like he's in a hurry.
He was pricey but worth the second opinion I was searching for he was a good listener and a great professional he takes his job seriously and I'm already on my to feeling better
Very comfortable office. Very easy to engage and listens to my needs and problems.
Very kind and accommodating. Listens well, uses common sense when prescribing medication.
Dr.Lane is very attentive,he listens and is very helpful.
Excellent Doctor! Great App! I would highly recommend!
Dr. Lane made it safe for me and I was grateful. There was a mixup and he was 15 minutes late, but apologized profusely and was very generous with his time.
He was very professional and knowledgable. I felt very comfortable in speaking to him frankly.
Saw this doctor for two years. I was seeing him regularly almost weekly talking about my current issues with an ex fiance, business and other current issues through therapy. He found out I had some issues in my past I never told him about which I've had previously resolved through therapy before i moved to Dallas. I had no need to discuss issues I've forgiven from my childhood and he called me dishonest for not telling him these things I felt were irrelevant given I was in my 30's when I saw him for therapy. He called me a liar when I had to reason to bring up issues decades before when I was dealing with a current custody case which was the main issue. He released my confidential information also without my permission.
very easy to open up to.
My wife saw him for alcohol addiction on several occasions, and we saw him together for a couple visits. He wasn't able to help her much. Similar to one of the other reviewers, he barely took notes. He did a good job of listening, but lacked a solid plan for her to get better. She wasn't able to quit and his response was "at least she is drinking less". For someone suffering from alcohol addiction, consumption has to be stopped entirely to get healthy. We weren't getting the results, and ultimately our insurance coverage changed which resulted him being out of network and we stopped seeing him. After four months of once a week sessions there was nothing to show for. We wanted to like him based on the good reviews, but unfortunately our experience wasn't as good as others.
I value time spent with Dr. Lane. He is a gifted professional.
it was a good. he has talked to me nicely. i felt like i didnt get enough time to explain my all problems.
He's awesome. He lets you just talk it out and I have learned a lot I in his room that has helped me improve things in my life immensely.
I was very pleased with my visit . Dr. Lane listened to my needs and was very helpful. All around good experience
Low key ,easy to talk to.
Excellent Psychiatrist. Listens, has a nice office, and tries to understand you. I was extremely comfortable and it was like we were old friends right away. A nice cup of a coffee and a good talk. Will be seeing him again. Definitely recommend!
Always a comfortable environment where I can speak without being interrupted or cut off, as I've experienced with other doctors. He actually listens to me and for the most part the conversation is mainly me speaking and expressing my current state and any issues I may be experiencing. Dr. Lane is very easy to talk to and I feel as if my time is not wasted. The office has established a very easy, efficient and effective check in and check out procedure. Also, I have never experienced any wait time in the waiting room that exceeds 5 minutes. AMAZING!
Dr. Randall, really impacted my life. I am 25 years old and I always had difficulty concentrating and it was making a negative impact in my carrier. Dr. Randall diagnosed me with ADHD, and my life has changed ever since. I was unaware ADHD in adults and now taking the medication has made a positive change in the past year. Also Dr. Randall was able to help me deal with personal issues helping me understand more of who I am. Great Doctor! Highly recommended.
He was very attentive and listened to everything I had to say.
I have been seeing Dr. Lane for a few months. He is very professional and has helped me a lot. I would recommend him to anyone needing to see a psychiatrist.
I am thoroughly impressed with how pleasant my visit was. The doctor was extremely easy to talk to and seemed to genuinely care. I definitely recommend him! :)
Very easy to speak with.

Always leave there feeling better, he is great and kind.
He is a fantastic listener.
I have been seeing Dr. Lane for a little over a month with weekly visits. I would highly recommend him as a psychiatrist. He is very attentive and gives you feedback when necessary. He is by far one the best psychiatrist I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
I am just thrilled that he is on my insurance plan and will help me.
Dr.Lane is a fantastic psychiatrist and I would recommend him highly.
He made me feel really calm, and I feel I can trust him!
went smoothly! He is very nice and offered to mail future prescriptions to my house which was pretty nice!
No wait, or excessive paperwork. I was immediately greeted by the Dr and shown in. Dr lane puffed me a coffee and got right into things. He was pointed and directive, but understanding and non-judgmental. He kept things real and simple, allowing me to understand our treatment plan. I left feeling I could count on him in the future to be there.
He is a consummate professional & knows his stuff. It was scary to go to a Dr I found online... He was a great find & let's me know that I can trust that Beech Street has vetted it's providers. Thanks
Listened to me and was very understanding and helpful :)
I love Dr. Randall Lane. I see him every week. I can't say he's the cheapest in town - but he's a great listener. I only wish I would get more feedback and delve into my past and figure out why I have the problems that I do; instead of listening to my current problems - which is mostly me yapping about boyfriend troubles. And based on how agreeable he is with me, I can only guess that I'm on the right track with that. It's the deeper stuff that I'd like him to dig out of me. But I know all of that takes time...
Great Listener. Enjoyed Visit.
He was very kind and easy to talk to
