Safahla Medical provides integrative aesthetic and wellness care to patients in and around the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier, NY, a rural and historically medically underserved region. Our solution is to create a hybrid environment that combines the best elements of a traditional practice with alternative and integrative medicine. By utilizing a highly trained surgeon, I am able to leverage my skills to provide comprehensive medical care with demonstrable results while adhering to the strictest medical standards. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate Medical School and completed my residency in General Surgery at the University of Vermont, where I also obtained a certificate in integrative medicine. Safahla was born out of my own experience not only as a physician but also as a patient and breast cancer survivor. Navigating the healthcare environment highlighted an urgent need for accessible, compassionate, and elevated care in this region. Being able to provide exquisite, bespoke care locally rather than having to travel great distances has been the reason for Safahla's existence. Patients and clients, regardless of proximity to larger cities, should be able to receive expert and holistic care.
