He earned his Medical Doctor degree from Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University in 1994 and completed an OB-GYN fellowship in 1998. He worked for many years serving underserved populations before emigrating to the United States. Mr. Castro is licensed in both New Jersey and New York and holds multiple certifications, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is committed to clear communication, proactive patient advocacy, and compassionate care for diverse patient populations. In gastroenterology, Mr. Castro works closely with Dr. Boris Chusid, a highly experienced specialist. While Dr. Chusid focuses primarily on performing procedures, Mr. Castro plays a key role in patient care by conducting consultations, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring smooth coordination of care before and after treatment.
