Getting to know Dr. Raven Aleman

*****Please note: I do NOT prescribe or manage any controlled substances such as : Adderall, Vyvanse, Clonazepam, Xanax, or Ambien. You’ve tried to hold it all together- work deadlines, family needs, relationships- but inside, it feels like you’re running on fumes. Your mind won’t shut off at night. You wake up already exhausted, replaying yesterday’s conversations and bracing for tomorrow’s challenges. Anxiety, low mood, or obsessive thoughts steal your energy and focus, and no matter how “together” you look on the outside, inside you feel overwhelmed and alone. With over 20 years in healthcare (including service as a Navy Veteran), I bring a blend of medical expertise and empathy to help you move from merely surviving to truly thriving.

What should a new client know about working with you?

*****Please consider: I do NOT prescribe or manage controlled substances such as Adderall, Vyvanse, Clonazepam, Xanax, or Ambien. You don’t have to accept this as your daily norm. I work with professionals, grad students, and others trapped in cycles of anxiety, insomnia, and OCD- helping them regain calm, clarity, and confidence. Through personalized, whole-person care, we’ll combine safe, non-stimulant medications and gene-testing when needed. If you're tired of spinning and ready to feel grounded again, reach out. Schedule your first session right away (weekday & same-day slots available).

What is your typical process for working with clients?

*****Please be aware: I do NOT prescribe or manage any controlled substances such as : Adderall, Vyvanse, Clonazepam, Xanax, or Ambien. You can expect care that feels thoughtful and unrushed. Your first session is a 60-minute, judgment-free space to share your story, goals, and daily life, and to talk about what “feeling better” means for you. We’ll review your mental health and medical history, past treatments, and look for patterns or overlooked factors that may affect how you feel now. When helpful, we may consider lab work or genetic testing to better understand hormones, nutrition, or how your body processes medications. Together, we’ll create a care plan that fits your goals—whether that includes whole-person medication management (I don’t prescribe stimulants or benzodiazepines), supportive therapy, or both. You’ll never be pushed into a decision; we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. Follow-up sessions are usually 30 minutes and give us time to check in, adjust your plan, and look at how things like sleep, balance, and daily stress impact your mental health. My hope is that you leave every session feeling supported, clearer about your care, and more confident that you’re making real progress—on your terms.

More information on payments and coverage

We accept select insurance plans in Texas, Washington, Hawaii, Colorado, New Mexico and New Hampshire, and are actively expanding to more states. For those without insurance or with out-of-network benefits, we offer clear, self-pay options. Many clients choose private pay for the flexibility, added privacy, and personalized experience it allows. Superbills can be provided to support possible reimbursement through your insurance, if eligible. Payment is securely processed at the time of your session, and we accept all major credit and debit cards. My services are well-suited for individuals who are ready to invest in their mental and emotional well-being. Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, I take a deeper, integrative approach—exploring how emotional, relational, and lifestyle factors such as stress, sleep, trauma history, and personal habits may be impacting your mental health. You deserve care that goes beyond surface-level strategies. If you're looking for a more thoughtful, whole-person path to healing, I’d be honored to support you on that journey.
