About Raven Jones

My path to women's health began in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), where I also had the opportunity to assist with mother-baby couplet care. Caring for women and their families during some of life's most significant moments left a deep impression on me. As my career progressed, that appreciation grew into a clear professional calling, leading me to transition into high-risk labor and delivery. Those experiences inspired me to pursue advanced practice nursing through the family nurse practitioner track, where my clinical training confirmed what I had known since my earliest days as a nurse: my place is in women's health. Since becoming a nurse practitioner, I have had the privilege of caring for women across their many reproductive and gynecologic health needs, including preventive care, contraceptive counseling, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, prenatal care, perimenopause and menopause. My approach to healthcare centers on patient empowerment through shared decision-making. I take time to understand each patient's needs, concerns and preferences so they feel informed, heard and comfortable discussing sensitive health concerns. My goal is for every patient to leave feeling confident in their care and reassured by the plan moving forward. Outside of the office, my husband and I are new to the Charlotte area and have enjoyed exploring everything the city has to offer. We've been trying new restaurants, attending live music events and going to sporting events. We're excited to continue discovering our new community and building connections here.
