Ravindra Tak, MD, joined Orlando Health Physician Associates in 1997. Board certified in family medicine, he specializes in comprehensive care for patients of all ages, providing preventive care as well as management of complex and chronic conditions.
Dr. Tak earned his medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, from Dr. S.N. Medical College in India. He completed his residency at Florida Hospital Orlando and the University of South Florida, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.

Friendly doctor and staff

I will never return to this office. The doctor did not listen, immediately assumed that I was there for hypertension due to high BP reading. I informed him that my previous Dr diagnosed me with white coat, which was tracked just a few months ago. He kept asking me why I was there and why I did not continue seeing my urgent care dr. I told him I was there because i do not have a pcp and that I needed a mire stable dr for my wellness visits, etc. He did not touch me...only to do my blood pressure manually, did not listen to my heart, lungs, did not look in my ears...what normal doctors do. Very arrogant when I stated that I was interested in having a stable doctor instead of seeing different people each time for my primary care. He stated that having a stable provider was not necessary "because the information is out there and this is a new day and age". I am 39 and I have never in my life met such a nasty doctor. I will not be returning.

I've been going to Dr.Tak for quite a while and he's always listens,and always trying to get me the best advice. And I trust him with my medical history. So he's really a good doctor. And I would prefer him to other people.

Everyone was friendly and nice . I felt real comfortable with the office staff. I walked in the office and greeted with a smile beyond the mask . The front desk young lady was so pleasant and very helpful. I even stated holding a conversation with her and noticed she was from the Island I grow up. My nurse and doctor did a great job and answer all my questions. There was no waiting time I was In and out in less than 45 minutes. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to join this practice.
