What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me means being met with empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to understanding your unique experiences. I believe that therapy is a partnership, and I take a flexible, client-centered approach, tailoring my methods to your specific needs and goals. Whether you're seeking help with anxiety, life transitions, or processing grief, my focus is on creating a collaborative, non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges and move toward growth. I value open communication, and I believe that the most effective therapy happens when we work together to understand what works best for you. I’m adaptable in my approach and strive to create an environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. Above all, I am here to walk alongside you in your journey—guiding, encouraging, and helping you navigate the ups and downs of life as you work toward healing and positive change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process for working with clients is collaborative and tailored to each individual's unique needs. In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I'll listen closely to your concerns, history, and goals, while creating a safe and open environment for you to share your thoughts and feelings. From there, we will work together to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals. Since I take a prescriptive approach, this means I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and mindfulness practices—depending on what will best support your needs. I believe in being flexible, adjusting techniques as needed based on your progress and feedback. Throughout our work together, I will provide you with tools and strategies to address your specific concerns, whether it’s managing anxiety, navigating life transitions, or processing grief. My goal is to empower you with insights and coping strategies that you can apply in your day-to-day life. As we continue working together, we will regularly check in to assess your progress and make any necessary adjustments to ensure we’re moving in the direction that best serves you. Above all, my focus is on building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and open communication. I am committed to walking alongside you in your journey, providing support as you explore your thoughts and emotions, and helping you navigate life’s challenges.
