Rebecca Taurel graduated from Medical School at the Universidad Central of Venezuela. She completed her Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology residency at the Venezuelan Red Cross. Subsequently, she worked for nine years as a reproductive endocrinologist and gynecologist at the Hospital de Clínicas Caracas, one of the most prestigious practices in Venezuela.
In 2017, Rebecca moved to the USA with her family. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science and a master’s degree as a nurse practitioner from Florida International University, graduating with honors. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has participated in several scientific conventions in Venezuela, Brazil, and the USA.
Throughout her career, Rebecca has been a compassionate doctor who values listening to her patients and providing an evidence-based, updated, and empathetic approach to care.

Dr. Taurel turned one of the scariest moments I’ve experienced (my miscarriage) into a much more understandable and less terrifying event. She answered all of mine and my husbands questions with so much care and knowledge, it really helped me make sense of everything that was happening. She not only comforted me in a very intimidating and overwhelming time, she also made me feel better about trying again in the coming months. She has a very trustworthy and easygoing presence. She is an amazing gynecologist for the first trimester. Very understanding and will listen to all your concerns and questions. I’m 10 weeks pregnant and she not only let us take pictures and videos of the ultra sound. She emailed us the photos and videos and allowed us to take our own. I’ve been having issues for a long time regarding my reproductive health and she was able to help me figure out what was going on as well as give me ways to help manage it.
