About Dr. Rebecca Tsang

Dr. Rebecca Tsang is the newest member of The Endoscopy Center of the North Shore, joining the practice after working for nine years as a gastroenterologist at NorthShore University/Endeavor Health. A North Shore native, Dr. Tsang grew up in Wilmette and Winnetka, and she is a graduate of New Trier High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Northwestern University and completed a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Pennsylvania while working in an ENT research laboratory. She eventually returned to Chicago for medical school at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she obtained a dual MD/MPH degree. She completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center and is now a board-certified gastroenterologist. Dr. Tsang was inspired to pursue gastroenterology by her late father, who practiced in the North Shore community for many years. Growing up accompanying him to the hospital while he was on call and working at his office, she witnessed the meaningful relationships he built with patients which has shaped her own approach to care. The privilege of treating many of her father’s long-time patients during her time at Endeavor was a meaningful way for Dr. Tsang to honor his legacy.
