If you have dreams and hopes, I can help you pick up new skills to navigate the waves of life. I earned my PsyD from Alliant International University, which has equipped me to support you effectively. Let's work together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Take a driver seat, and I will be your GPS until you take full charge of your path of travel. With your permission, I will assist you in your self-discovery and find the immortal diamond that is your undamaged core self. We will take some reasonable risks in developing effective strategies to cope with unfavorable life circumstances.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I had one trial/intake call with Dr. Young, and she jumped to conclusions about experiences I told her about, and took everything I said very literally. I used a relationship in my life to explain how I wanted to improve how I handle certain things, and she took that to mean that I only wanted therapy to help with this relationship. I told her about another difficult experience, and she assumed that it was something I was carrying throughout my whole life and was weighing me down. She's very analytical, and wants a roadmap as to exactly what issues you want help with and what your end goal will look like. Maybe a good fit for some people, but definitely not for me. I need a bit more flexibility and warmth in my first intake session with someone, as I'm not entirely sure of the best way to go about working through issues.
