“Very quick yet thorough skin check. Asked about family history and seemed to be trauma informed re:giving the skin check, asked for consent and confirmed. We identified a couple of moles to biopsy and were done in under 10 minutes. I would make a separate appointment to discuss other skin ailments though, as there was a bit of a rush and I didn't get the sense my questions about my aging skin were a priority. For cancer screening and overall care though, very high marks. ”

About Rebekah Chen

Rebekah Chen, PA-C is a nationally board certified PA and is licensed by the medical board of Maryland. Rebekah received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Virginia Tech, where she graduated summa cum laude. She then went on to receive her Master of Medical Science degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, where she graduated with honors. After completing PA school, Rebekah furthered her dermatology training by earning the prestigious status of Diplomate Fellow by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Rebekah has also completed additional surgical training under Dr. Allan Harrington, MD and Dr. Mary Farley, MD at our Skin Cancer Surgery Center in Annapolis, MD. Rebekah is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Rebekah practices general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Rebekah sees both pediatric and adult patients at our Glen Burnie office, and she is accepting new patients.
