She completed her Family Practice residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch and Wilkes Barre General Hospital in Pennsylvania. Dr. Bommasani started her private practice in Woodbridge, Virginia, in 2004 and extended her practice to the Manassas location in 2006. Upon popular patient demand, the Herndon clinic was opened in 2011. Subsequently, Fairfax location was opened in 2017, and finally, the Aldie location in 2023. Dr. Bommasani is the recipient of various Peoples Choice awards for her medical and philanthropic causes. She believes that every patient should be treated as a family member, with the same care and compassion. Her vision for the practice is to provide a medical home to the patients, and not just a service.
