My passion in healthcare is fueled by having the opportunity and privilege of building a rapport with patients, advocating for them, and helping to guide them in their health and wellness journey. It brings me great joy to see patients improve, thrive, and become the best version of themselves.
I believe the role of a primary care provider needs to entail active listening, compassion, and a holistic approach to care—one that takes into consideration both the physical and emotional wellbeing of the patient. Throughout many years in primary care practice, I have come to learn how important it is for providers to take the time to explain, educate, and engage in shared decision making with their patients.
I have been practicing as a Physician Assistant for the past 18 years, most of which have been spent in Primary Care/Internal Medicine. I earned my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hill University. I married my best friend 16 years ago, and I am blessed to be the mom of two wonderful sons. In my spare time, you can usually find me on the sidelines cheering for my boys. I also enjoy going to the beach, spending weekends in the mountains, skiing, crafting, taking walks with my husband and our beloved Golden Doodle, and game nights with friends.
