About Dr. Regina McInerney-Lopez

Regina McInerney-Lopez, DO, FAAP, is a pediatrician in Suffolk County who enjoys caring for patients from newborns through 21 years of age. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. McInerney-Lopez completed her residency in Pediatrics at Cohen Children's Medical Center (formerly Long Island Children's Hospital) in 2005, where she was named Resident of the Year. Prior to her current role, which she has held for over six years, she worked at Advantage Care Physicians for nearly a decade. Today, Dr. McInerney-Lopez is a proud mom of three children and feels that her experiences as a parent help her be a better pediatrician. Outside of the office, she is a Cub Scout leader and enjoys spending time with her husband and kids.
