“Dr. Herbert is one of the best! She is very professional, personable, and she prioritizes her patients health. She doesn’t rush her patient's during visits. She also pays close attention to detail and medication management. If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m very grateful to have found this practice! ”

“Remy was exactly the person my daughter was needing to speak with regarding her mood and her out of control behavior at home. She listened empathically and gave us all the options available that would benefit Lisa. I will be arranging for follow-ups with Remy again and eventually plan on a family session. ”

Getting to know Remedios Hebert

Experienced psychiatric RN for 20 years, now a board-certified NP with a Master's in Nursing from Walden University, specializing in mental health disorders across ages (13 to geriatric). My approach is holistic, prioritizing comprehensive care before considering medications. Using evidence-based practices, I aim to address your unique needs thoroughly.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Open communication and collaboration are key to a successful therapeutic journey. I am dedicated to understanding the unique challenges that many people face and will prioritize your complete situation before considering any medications. Together, we'll explore evidence-based strategies tailored to your needs. I believe in interprofessional treatment as social support plays a crucial role in both the pathogenesis and recovery of many disorders; all treatment and intervention should include the patient, the family, and other social support (when appropriate) which frequently leads to better patient outcomes. You can expect a safe and confidential environment where your concerns will be listened to and respected.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After booking your appointment, a 15-minute screening phone call will be initially done. During your first telehealth mental health session, we'll discuss your concerns, medical history, and goals. I'll explain how our sessions will work virtually and answer any questions you may have. This is an opportunity for us to establish a connection, and together, we'll begin to explore a holistic approach to address your mental health needs using evidence-based practices. Please expect a phone call or email after booking so we can make sure my practice is a good fit for your mental health needs.

Ongoing session: $100-150 for 45 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront
