I love being a medical provider! I relish the challenge of determining how to help patients feel better and value the relationships that come from that. My experience in Emergency Medicine and Primary Care gives me insight into how to keep my clinic patients out of the ER while recognizing more emergent issues that require aggressive management. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University, hold a Master’s in Adult Nursing and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Emergency Medicine from West Virginia University.
My goal is to be the first resource for patients regarding their physical and behavioral health needs. I enjoy managing my patients’ acute and chronic issues but am confident in identifying when they need a specialist to help them feel better. I see myself as the quarterback of a patient’s healthcare team—I integrate input from other specialists and use my relationship with and knowledge of my patients to help them utilize specific recommendations.
I have been married for 22 years, and I love that my husband still makes me laugh every day. We have two teenagers who keep us on our toes and a beloved dog, Jonah. I enjoy being outside, working in my gardens or hiking with my dog, and I am an amazing cook.
