Philosophy of care My philosophy of care is shared decision-making and individualized health care. My role as a physician is to develop a trustworthy relationship, present patients with their options and make evidence-based recommendations. I then become their advocate and build a plan of care that fits their personal goals and lifestyle. I want my patients to feel like I took care of them as family. Why I entered medicine I pursued a career in medicine to have a positive impact on the people and community around me. I have always been intrigued by the relationship between the human body and medical conditions. Being a physician allows me not only to learn about these ailments, but also provides me with an opportunity to teach my patients about them as well. Community involvement New to the area, I am looking for local volunteer opportunities. Personal interests When not working I enjoy seeing family and friends, exploring local cuisine with my husband and spending time with our cats, Evie and Zoe. I enjoy autumn, especially Halloween, a good crime podcast and a book that’s hard to put down.
