Why I entered medicine I chose medicine, specifically family medicine, to form lasting connections with patients, provide holistic care throughout their lives and make a positive impact on both individual well-being and community health. Community involvement I am new to the area but have enjoyed volunteering at health walks, community fairs and sports events in the past. Personal interests I enjoy horseback riding, hiking and other outdoor activities. I also like cooking as well as making and admiring art. I am always open to trying something new and learning a new skill.
