“I found this provider in Zocdoc while looking for a mental health provider, but this provider does not practice psych. He is a primary care provider. The receptionist said that this happens to them often because Zocdoc has them listed incorrectly, so they called me in advance to verify luckily shortly before the appointment and it was cancelled. They were very nice and very apologetic on Zocdoc’s behalf. This is the 3rd appointment I have booked through Zocdoc for this condition, and all were cancelled for similar reasons. Going forward, I will not be depending on Zocdoc, for this condition as I am eager to get help, and Zocdoc is only delaying me getting help. I do have an optometry appointment coming up that I booked through Zocdoc that I will need to proactively verify, to avoid a similar issue. Fingers crossed.”
