“I had a good experience with Rich. His therapy style matched my needs nicely. He has a very calming presence which helped me lay out everything and then he helped me explore certain aspects with insightful questions. I think everyone has a unique profile of receiving therapy that is not a “one-size-fit-all” for all therapists. Just as you need to date around to find the “right” person, the same is true for you finding the “right” therapist. Would recommend to people who find more comfort in someone listening and asking questions here and there.”

My experience with Dr. Angle was just alright. I was looking for someone who could be more active in suggesting/advising.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion. In my opinion the visit with Dr. Angle was a waste of my time and money.
the entire session was about me talking, Dr. Angle did not really give very helpful guidance
Productive first apointment, looking forward to working with him. I hope it helps!
very good listener and he asked me some important questions about my situation.

a truly excellent and insightful therapist. I highly recommend him.
Not an active approach to therapy, more of a listening experience

Although he was very professional he came off as rather cold.
He was very professional and nice! Really helped me out.

He’s a good listener and his office is beautiful. Its very calming to be there. He made the entire experience easy. He can be a little too quiet for me. I like to talk and in need of someone to equally converse with me so I’m not so anxious.
Good

They didn't contact me and just sent me an automatic email to another online site to setup a profile before the appt and the site was saying my insurance wasn't active, which it is... Makes no sense

My first visit was great. He is an active listener, he asks good questions and he offered a plan for our future meetings. Definitely a fantastic first visit. Highly recommended.

Over several months now, I have had regular sessions with Dr. Angle, and I could not be happier. I'm not sure why some folks are saying he "just listens." That has not been my experience at all. He needs to hear from a patient, details about the issues they're dealing with, but once he has them, in my experience, he has offered valuable feedback and wisdom. He often will ask a simple question or make what seems like a short comment, but these are far more helpful and enlightening than it might seem. What I appreciate about his manner is how calm and consistent it is, how *well* he listens, and how good he is at helping me help myself.

Although very kind and welcoming, Dr. Angle only listens. No feedback or engagement. I have repeated certain things several times in each session. If anything it made me feel like I was going in circles and was not making any progress. I get to vent with my friends and the only reason I have chosen therapy was to not use them as emotional garbage and to actually work on myself. If you just need to vent and release, Dr. Angle is the right choice for you. Unfortunately, I'm not sure you will get more than that.
He was a little dry. I only went once and typically you need more than one visit to make a connection with the therapist. I would definitely go again.

My partner and I were looking for someone to take apart our venting thoughts and put us in the right direction on fundamental topics. Rich was a quiet nice man but he wouldn’t take us on because he mentioned he is more of a traditional/analytical approach and wants the couple to work it out. Which meant majority listening and a couple questions on how my husband and I could figure it out. Which normally I’m Ok with but he decided to not take us on because I asked if he could play a major role in putting us in the right direction and his style is to not tell couples what to do or how and more of listening. Which is fine but my mother listens and I don’t have to pay her. I even had a phone convo with him prior to the meeting and probably repeated everything in the session that I had on the phone and so did my husband and not sure why he didn’t just tell us on the phone he couldn’t take us on when I was very clear from the beginning what we needed. Always ask ur thearpist their style before going into sessions and take ur money for just listening and not any actual feedback. Thanks!

Had an initial visit that went okay where we talked about my past On our second visit he asked me what we should talk about and I didn’t know, I thought he should know because he’s the therapist We ended up sitting there for an hour silently because he didn’t know what to talk about and then he still charged me
Dr. Angle was transparent and straightforward.
It was my pleasure to meet Dr. Rich Angle. I felt very comfortable, he paid attention to each my word and I definitely recommend his office to other people.

Great all around.
I would highly recommend Richard to anyone. My first visit was great and his office is a great setting for any type of discussion. Don’t hesitate to book an appointment!

Very professional and personable.

Depends on the type of therapy you need. If you need someone to listen, give you advice and drive the conversation in a productive direction, he's not your guy. If you're looking for deep psychoanalysis of any kind, you won't get it with him. If you'd like 45 minutes of just someone to nod and ask vague questions while you drone on and wonder if there's a point then he's very good for that.
I saw him twice. There were several long drawn out silences, and I felt like I was struggling to fill the silences. There was no direction in conversation, and he seemed disinterested. I wouldn't recommend.
Richard Angle is the best, all around. I've only seen him twice, but he puts you at ease right away. He is observant, patient, and asks thoughtful questions. This is really more of a dialogue and conversation instead of someone who will just stare and you and listen to you vent. Best of all, he takes insurance, unlike some of these psychologists who claim to and in reality, do not. Go see him, you won't regret it.
It was my first session and everything was great. i felt very comfortable and able to talk about everything. it seems like he will help me immensely.
Happy I made this choice. See him again

It's been awhile since I've seen/felt I needed to see a therapist, but I knew I made the right choice when I stopped in for my first appointment with Dr. Angle. He was very professional and calm as we discussed the necessary things one discusses at an appointment. Most of all, I liked how we explored different sides of a few topics in non-judgemental ways. I'm excited to work with him.
I wasn't a fan, I tried to wait it out and make it work, but I always felt worse after leaving and felt like he wasn't actually listening to me.
He asked a fair number of questions, but didn't offer enough feedback. At times, I wasn't sure he was paying attention. Provided a nice opportunity to discuss my issues, but did not offer helpful solutions.
I actually liked Dr. Angle and he was conveniently located for me but after a few sessions I noticed that he was cutting corners by having appointments that overlapped with one another. I would get to my appointment about ten minutes early and a patient would come out the moment my appointment was supposed to start. Then Dr. Angle would tell me he would be with me in a few minutes and close his office door for five minutes or so before letting me in. I believe most professional psychologists give themselves at least 15 minutes of reflection between each appointment where Dr Angle booked us so closely together that each patient lost a few minutes at the start and end of their appointment.
