Richard Callado is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with almost 20 years of experience in the mental health field. He earned his Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing from Hunter College. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for both pediatric and adult psychiatry, Dr. Callado has worked in inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, and residential treatment environments. He also offers comprehensive consulting and tele-psychiatry services.

They send a reminder, which is a huge plus for someone who forgets things.. Richard Callado was very friendly and attentive. He provided a welcoming and comfortable environment. He understood the fears people tend to have regarding stigma, listened to my concerns, and ensures to plan ahead. My prior provider was inconsistent.. He was transparent about his schedule. I liked that he also provided knowledge on studies he has read up on. This shows his dedication and makes me feel reassured that he puts in the time to be on top of the latest. He’s also very patient and will listen without rushing you out the door. 10/10 recommend

This felt like a total bait-and-switch. The appointment doesn't really exist—and isn't with the doctor you see. You will get calls and texts to fill out a bunch of other forms, and they will say the appointment you scheduled and the doctor are not available anymore and that you need to do a screener appointment and then after that they will schedule a doctors appointment for you.
