About Dr. Richard Greene
Dr. Richard Greene is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree at Colgate University, he entered Chicago Medical School, where he earned his medical degree. Following medical school, Dr. Greene completed a dermatology and dermatologic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. In addition to practicing private medicine, he is a clinical assistant professor of dermatology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and an honorary member of The Noah Worchester Dermatological Society. Dr. Greene has been consulted as a medical resource for numerous publications, including Essence, Glamour, Ladies' Home Journal, New Women, Sassy, Mirabella, Working Woman, Self, Teen, Family Circle, and Woman's Day. He has appeared on local and national television and radio. Dr. Greene has had multiple private practices over the past 30+ years, with a reputation as an adept educator among his clients.

Outstanding bedside manner and truly old-school patient care. Dr. Greene immediately understood my concerns and addressed them without hesitation. I saw him Monday and my medications are already on the way from the specialty pharmacy.
From the front desk staff to the nurse, everyone was attentive, welcoming, and professional. The visit was absolutely worth the trip from Chicago.
Dr. Greene reminds me of the kind of physicians you don’t come across as often anymore — experienced, compassionate, thorough, and genuinely invested in helping patients feel heard. You can tell medicine is more than just a job to him. Truly an amazing doctor.

He is so professional and attentive! To be honest, I was nervous about going to a doctor that may not be aware of how to treat black skin but he was extremely knowledgeable and I absolutely would recommend him to anyone I know. My new dermatologist.

I ended up nearly passing out after having two warts frozen (my fault, I didn't eat or drink water prior to my appointment.) They were very helpful and patient with me while helping me recover. Treatment was explained clearly.
