About Dr. Richard Lenholt
Born and raised in St. Pete, Dr. Ric graduated from Dixie Hollins High School. He stayed local and attended Eckerd College, where he was a four-year varsity starter at point guard on the basketball team. Seeking a taste of winter, he attended Logan University in St. Louis, MO, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After graduating, he returned home, joined Tyrone Chiropractic Clinic, and eventually became its owner. His love of basketball remains strong; he coached at Canterbury School of Florida and now enjoys watching his son carry on the family tradition. Whether he will don the coach’s hat again—this time for girls basketball or for the other “b” word, ballet—remains to be seen.

Didn't end up seeing the doctor I chose on Zocdoc, they stuck me with someone else. The office staff doesn't really think highly of Zocdoc either. Ultimately the care I received was good enough since I was in some pain and needed relief, but I'm currently looking for a new chiropractor and treating each appointment at a new office like they're "auditioning" for the role, and going to see which one I like best. After this one, I'll keep auditioning, this one wasn't good enough to abandon my other planned auditions of other chiro offices. Ultimately, not bad, good enough, didn't land the permanent role.

Very nice, friendly, knowledgeable staff. The Doctors take their time with you, they explain everything in depth and offers several different types of therapy. I really enjoy my visits here.

It was a great experience. I explained what was wrong and doc was able to help me right away. He made me aware of every possible scenario and even told me about how my symptoms may get worse before they get better. He also gave me options on what treatment I would want to receive. He even told me that if the symptoms worsen over night that he would be willing to come to the office on his day off and take care of me.

First time at the chiropractor and Dr. Lenholt made me feel EXTREMELY comfortable as if I had been coming to his office for years. He just made the entire experience a great one. I left and my lower back pain was completely resolved.

First, I will say that my neck did feel better the day after the appointment, so that is a positive. The rest of the visit was pretty unpleasant. The office is very old, cluttered, and actually dirty. I have never seen a doctor’s office like this before. There was visible dirt on handles, doors, surfaces; supplies were falling out of cabinets with no doors; other equipment looked old and dirty. I have had chiropractic consultations that were extremely thorough and this was not at all. My door was left open and another patient walked in and thought it was supposed to be his room. After the treatment I was sent for muscle stimulation + ultrasound treatment. The receptionist seems to also be the assistant so she ran back and forth to the desk and treatment room. It was very chaotic. She asked where she should put the pads; the dr did not tell her ahead of time. If these things wouldn’t bother you, I’d say give it a try. I also feel that another chiropractor can definitely treat my issue.

Herniated 3 discs in my neck 2-3 years, recently regresses a bit and have been having a lot of upper back/ neck pain and tightness. After one visit my back feels 10 years younger. Just did my second visit today and same thing. I’ll be coming back!
