About Dr. Richard Sterling
Dr. Sterling attended Temple University School of Medicine. He then moved south and completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Sterling practiced otolaryngology outside of Charleston for over 27 years prior to moving back to the area. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy
“As an otolaryngologist, I am privileged to treat both adult patients who have a wide range of medical and surgical problems. While maintaining a broad scope of practice, I do have particular interest in upper airway disorders including nasal and sinus disease and head and neck disease. I am very excited to become a part of this community. After many years of practice, I still love taking care of patients. I am deeply committed to providing high quality patient care

I absolutely would recommend this Dr and this office to anyone. The doctor was friendly courteous and explained everything to me so that I was easily able to understand what I was having difficulty with. The front desk and nursing staff were kind caring and considerate and always followed all covid policies and procedures.

Dr. Sterling provides a high standard and excellence in ENT medical care, understands the concerns, and communicates clearly the diagnosis and treatment. His high-quality medical equipment facilitates examinations and treatments that are comfortable. He is in tune with the person throughout the entire visit. The prevention protocols for times of COVID for himself and his staff are implemented to the highest standard and are consistent with all staff members. Everything was on time and was seamless. The office is impeccably clean.

Dr. Sterling was excellent in solving my problem with water in both ears. He said he never saw so much wax in a person's ear before, he kept saying ,"Wow". I am glad I can hear now. He was wonderful, very helpful and understanding and a good listener. Thank you
