Dr. Richard Tilton is a committed ear, nose & throat physician who serves Stamford, CT and the surrounding areas. Dr. Tilton earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed residency in Otolaryngology---Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he was chosen by faculty as a chief resident during his final year.
Dr. Tilton is available for exams and consultations at Ear, Nose and Throat Center, LLP. He is able to address a wide range of patient concerns, including allergies, ear infections, hearing loss, vertigo, thyroid disease, cancer screenings, sinus disease, and other disorders of the head and neck. Check in was easy because they had invited me to their patient portal prior to the visit. This enabled me to fill out all the forms online so I didn't need to waste time at the doctor's office completing the paperwork. I was taken back quickly and visited with the medical assistant and then the doctor. Dr. Tilton took time to understand my concerns and cover a treatment plan. I will definitely go back if I need to.

My whole experience with Dr. Tilton and his office was exceptional. They reached out to me the morning of the appointment to ask if I could push my time back a couple hours, but this was no problem for me since my schedule was flexible that day. When I was filling out my new patient paperwork, someone from the front desk came over and had me go into an exam room while I filled out my paperwork! I had never had this happen at a drs office before and it felt great because it felt like they were trying to get me seen ASAP. I was seeing Dr. Tilton because I had been dealing with dizziness/vertigo and wasn't sure if it was related to ear wax issues or something else. Dr. Tilton listened to me, asked good questions, and helped me create a plan with next steps. He was professional and kind in how he addressed me and I felt like he was genuinely trying to help me resolve my issue and feel better. I would definitely recommend him and his office.

Wow, excellent doctor. Very thorough visit that conducted many diagnostic tests. Dr. Tilton was friendly, thorough, and even had some suggestions for supplements to try. The whole staff was great too. Very much an above average office experience. A+

Dr. Tilton was an excellent listener and also explained everything so it was easy for me to understand. I thought he did a very thorough exam. If I have any troubles in the future I'd definitely go back there.

I was very very impressed with Dr. Tiltons professionalism, and recommendations which definitely worked. I did so well that I didn’t load a follow up appointment I got a personal phone call from him asking how I was doing and if I needed anything. My husband home emergency with nosebleeds and we called Dr. Tilton he never met either one of us before and he felt like he was personal for years took care of my husbands problem with diligence and compassion... we do not find that very often with physicians today.

Dr. Tilton could be the best Dr in Fairfield County. Went in for something simple & discovered a serious condition. As a former teacher, he thought of every detail. Returned calls promptly. As a surgeon, he was well-skilled in handling my situation. Didn't overprescribe antibiotics.
