Raised in Rhode Island, Dr. Ulm has been involved with sports his entire life. With the prospect of training with Jud Logan, a 3-time Olympian in track and Field (now a 4-time Olympian), he attended Ashland University. While at Ashland, he studied English, philosophy, and political science. Although he didn’t know it at the time, he was lucky enough to have met his future wife (Jackie Jeschelnig), to whom he is happily married. At Ashland he also developed a great love of the Mid-West, its people and its landscape. After graduation, he continued training and coached track and field at Emporia State University, where he received a Masters of Science. In 2004 he competed at the Track and Field Olympic Trials in Sacramento, California. Following the Olympic Trials he coached at New Mexico State University where he was both a strength andconditioning coach as well as the head throwing coach. During his time as a NCAA division I coach, his interest in the human body and performance grew and in 2008 he decided to pursue this passion more and become a chiropractic physician. To this end, in 2008 he enrolled at National University of Health Sciences. National University is an evidence-based institution for Chiropractic Physicians. While at National, he focused his efforts on biomechanics, anatomy, orthopedics, gait assessment and rehabilitation. In 2011, Dr. Ulm opened Columbus Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center (CCRC) with the intent of providing high quality, patient-centered care to the greater Columbus community. To ensure that he is providing the best, most cutting edge care to his patients, he has continued to study multiple techniques and approaches from around the world.
