The office itself didn’t have anyone at the front desk when I arrived at 0745 for my 0800 appointment. In fact, the door was locked. The door was unlocked at 0800 but the front desk attendant was not there or didn’t arrive to the desk until 0839, making me late. Her reason- no one was here. She never came out in that timeframe. Not a best first impression of the office!

The appointment was smooth. Dr. Webster and his staff were amazing! Been a while since I’ve gone to a PCP. And I didn’t feel judged. Dr. Webster and Nurse Wanda, as well as the front desk associate whose name I can’t remember, were simply fantastic. Like many people, I feel strong anxiety before going to the doctor - especially on a first visit, like this one. From start to finish, the whole staff was kind, accommodating, and reassuring.

The appointment itself was fine (I went to have 3 stitches removed), but it felt like the practice only cared about earning more money... Since I had the appointment, I was hoping to get the doctor's guidance about a bad cold I developed the past couple days. The nurse told me I'd need a separate appointment for that because they only booked 30 min for my appointment and removing my stitches would take a while. I understood because I didn't want to delay their schedule, but by the time the doctor finished there were still 10 min left in the 30 min time slot. I mentioned my cold but the doctor didn't seem to care and walked out as soon as the stitches were out. There was plenty of time to address the cold but instead I have to keep struggling with it and take time to come back another day -- I asked if they had a slot for me to be seen that same day but the nurse said they don't do 2 appointments on the same day, which I'm guessing is so they can bill insurance twice...

I went in for my annual physical. Dr Webster has great bedside manner, he listen to my concerns and took the time to explain clearly the different approaches to address these. I didn't feel rush during the appointment and left with a clear plan.
The only negative point is for the front desk. The lady is not welcoming nor friendly. She forgot to call me to cancel my appointment and I only found out when I showed up on the scheduled day. I couldn't see the doctor that day and had to reschedule to a different day.

I sense that I was not thoroughly communicated to when I wanted to proceed to do a follow up at a different facility to proceed with my suspected diagnosis.
Ms.Patel seemed dismissive when I sensed that there still needed to be more discussed.
Despite being told that there would be an order done I don't believe I was ever followed up on my app in regards to setting that up since it would be my first time doing so.
I'd probably go elsewhere if it weren't for the urgent need to see a specialist, I just felt dismissed compared to the next patient that saw her.

I recently visited AllCare Ballston for a new primary care provider after moving to the area, but the experience was disappointing. The office rarely answers the phone—I had to call twice just to get directions and only got a callback once I reached the parking garage. There were no clear instructions on which garage to use, and parking wasn't validated, costing me a steep fee for a visit under 40 minutes. Despite receiving multiple test result emails, I wasn’t linked to the patient portal and had to call twice in 48 hours to get access. Though I completed most of the paperwork the night before, I was told I had to finish it on my phone while in the office or I wouldn’t be seen. They couldn’t scan IDs or health cards in person, which felt unnecessarily restrictive. The disorganization and lack of customer care were frustrating. I regret choosing AllCare and wish I had stayed within the INOVA system, where professionalism and efficiency are much higher.

I went in for an annual physical at 5pm, which I was told I would be getting bloodwork done (had to fast 8 hours before). I got to my room and explained to the lady doing my vitals why I came in (had been very ill with noro and flu and have been concerned about multiple things prior to getting ill such as swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, and not being able to gain weight). They wouldn’t look past my sicknesses and told me I couldn’t get a physical and needed to do a sickness visit instead. Mean you I’m a week past the flu and not contagious, only had a minor cough. The doctor comes in and says they don’t even do blood tests past 3pm… completely dismisses my long existing issues as sickness related… and prescribed me bronchitis medication without even listening to my chest or doing any type of physical examination. Felt very dismissed and got no answers or bloodwork done… was out in less than 30 mins… did not pick up bronchitis meds as I 100% don’t have that. Very odd experience.
