About Dr. Riddhi U. Bodani
Dr. Riddhi U. Bodani is a compassionate internist and primary care doctor. Originally from Houston, TX, she sees patients at the Medical Clinic of Houston, L.L.P., aka "The Sunset Clinic." Dr. Bodani understands the importance of general wellness and preventative medicine: " My goal is to provide comprehensive clinical care to my patients by treating and managing chronic health conditions, providing annual physical exams and necessary screening tests and/or immunizations, and diagnosing and treating any acute health issues. I strive to provide efficient and cost-effective patient care with evidence based medical treatments. My practice will also focus on empowering patients with the tools and knowledge needed to prevent and manage common health problems. I hope to build strong life-long physician-patient relationships so that I can provide the very best care to my patients."

Dr. Bodani earned her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University. She then obtained her medical degree and completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch. During her time here, she won the Helen and Charles D. Fraser, Jr., M.D. Endowed Presidential Scholarship and the Daisy Emery Allen Scholarship.

Amazing experience! Got there 15 minutes early to check in (as recommended) and was seen exactly at the start time of my appointment. Entire new patient history and physical was completed by the doctor within 15 minutes of the start of the appointment. Great advice given, friendly staff, good listeners.

Very professional staff. The doctor took the time out to make me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions during the appointment. I had a fantastic experience with the doctor. She was very attentive, asked valuable questions and listened information about my body. I appreciated her understanding of health history of Black patients given the differences of how medication impacts us differently. I would highly recommend her to any patient seeking new help. The facility was set up well and I cannot believe I was in and out in 30 minutes. *The front staff needs to be more cognizant of how they interact with patients such as informing us of the process for check in and not getting upset when I went to sit down and fill out paperwork.

I initially went in for kidney pain on Wednesday 11/16. The nurse was very nice, I really liked her. The doctor was a good listener, i was hoping to keep her as my primary physician, but after my experience I don’t think so. She ordered lab work because I needed it (haven’t had labs in years) , urine culture and an abdominal ultrasound. I was under the impression that the u/s was for my GI issues, but I wasn’t clear on that. I was told by the ultrasound tech that someone would reach out with results Monday. It’s Wednesday 11/23 and I haven’t heard anything although I tried calling a couple of times. I finally got a hold of someone and was told that my results would be MAILED to me and the receptionist wasn’t sure if that included my ultrasound report. I’m upset because no one followed up with me, not even a courtesy call to say my labs would be mailed. On top of that, what is the next step after the u/s? Poor communication overall.
