About Rita Augustin
As a nurse practitioner at You First Healthcare, my patients receive excellent care and are treated like family. I love to teach health education and lifestyle changes, so my patients can live longer, healthier lives. A good day at work means that I’ve met the needs of my patients, made them feel cared for and answered their questions. I help them solve problems, relieve them of the burden of their medical care, and point them in the right direction. A Florida native, I was raised in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas, and have recently lived in Rocklin, California, before returning to Florida. Since childhood, I love caring for people and helping them. There's nothing that gives me more fulfillment than doing what I love and when I can connect with my patients and make a difference in their lives. When I’m not working, I’m very active. I love nature trails, mountain climbing, horseback riding, ice skating, roller blading and listening to the ocean. I treasure the time I spend with family and friends.
