About Rita Malhotra Urgent Care
Dr. Rita Malhotra, a physician with more than 20 years of experience, values the opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care. As an Instructor at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, she trains future doctors to become skilled and empathetic providers.
She has a passion for serving her community and has been recognized by the mayor of NYC.
She is also the recipient of a medical scholarship from the Miss America Organization.
Thanks to her extensive experience in telehealth, she can reach patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Dr. Malhotra is a unique provider who strives to develop close personal relationships with patients and offers ample moral support.

I was a little worried, this isn't your average office. She rents office space during certain times and shares it with other doctors. But she's well supplied and doesn't lack anything your normal doctors office would. This doctor made me cry. I went in, she asked me some questions and LISTENED to me. She listened to me and listened to what my heart and lungs had to tell her. 10 years, and she's the first one to care and try to figure out my cough. I left there, and my husband rushed me out because he could tell I was about to break down. I'm finally not being brushed off. Fingers crossed!

I’m so happy with my annual check up with her. She made me feel so comfortable. She did a REAL annual check up, unlike other doctors who just ask a few questions and one and done. I’ve already made up my mind about having her as my PCP.

it was a video visit reception was bad but she called back she had a good phone report and was knowledgeable my only issue which is big was she didn't follow through with sending medication to the pharmacy or call back which lead me to have to go to a doctor's office the next morning

Dr Rita she promised to send the prescription to the assigned pharmacy by 8 pm yesterday. I went to the pharmacy and nothing there. I went to the pharmacy today morning and nothing in the system. I am so sick and I am out of medication now

Dr. M was very accommodating and listened to all of my symptoms clearly and took everything I was saying seriously. I definitely felt heard and my issues were addressed. The only issue I have is it has taken 3 days so far to get my prescription sent, and no word on what is going on.

Doctor diagnosed my condition extremely quickly, was accurate in said diagnosis (even more impressive considering it was an e-visit), and gave very useful advice while listening to my concerns and hearing me out. Highly recommend!
