About Rita Tsipen
Rita Tsipen is a board certified Physician Assistant, having completed her medical training at Long Island University, graduating with a master’s degree. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Rita has been a Dermatology PA for 7 years. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) with licenses in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Her scope of practice includes both medical and cosmetic dermatology, treating children of all ages and adults. She enjoys educating her patients about skin care and finding a skin care regimen that is a good fit for each individual patient. She strongly believes that all patients should feel good about their skin. In addition to practicing Dermatology, she also specialized in Women’s Health at Maimonides Medical Center, allowing her to integrate her experience in both specialties to better serve her patients. She is bilingual in English and Russian. In her free time, Rita Tsipen loves to travel and explore new places. She enjoys trying different cuisines wherever she goes. Her friends would call her a “foodie”. When she’s not traveling, Rita’s guilty pleasure includes binge watching her favorite TV shows if time allows for it.

I'm so lucky to have found this office. Rita saw me within 5 minutes of my appointment time. She was not rushing me & the whole visit was pleasant from desk to the provider. I've been having a rash for 2 years, & now it's fully resolved in one week.

Rita is an absolutely amazing provider. I had horrible acne for years, after seeing many providers, Rita was the only one that was able to create a personalized treatment plan that works for me. I will definetly be recommending her to everyone.

She was excellent m…after she seen my problem she explained in detail what it was and also showed me a zoomed in pic of my situation with a plan 2 help me get rid of it… Definitely recommend ??????????

My appointment kind of felt rushed. They didn’t really inform me on what my issue was and things to help deal with the pain. My prescription was sent 3days late to the pharmacy. Due to this wait my condition got worse and I’m in pain now :(

Dr. Rita Tsipen was great. Listened to me and immediately had a solution. She even educated me on hormone changes in the female body and how the relates to adult acne. Very knowledgable.
