About Dr. Ritu Swali
Ritu Swali, MD is a double board-certified dermatologist and venous disease specialist with fellowship training in cosmetic dermatologic surgery who specializes in aesthetics, lasers, and comprehensive vein disease. Dr. Swali grew up in Houston, TX and graduated from the University of Texas. She received her medical degree from Texas A&M University, where she graduated with honors and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Swali’s post-graduate training includes a rigorous clinical research fellowship in Houston, TX in association with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she served as a sub-investigator for over 50 clinical trials. She went on to complete her preliminary intern year at the University of California Irvine and dermatology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She honed her expertise further through an American Society of Dermatological Surgery-accredited fellowship in cosmetic dermatologic surgery and comprehensive vein disease at Dermatology and Laser Surgery Center in association with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Swali’s passions lie in pediatric procedural dermatology and utilizing her niche in aesthetics and lasers for medical diagnoses.
In addition to treating patients, Dr. Swali thrives off of mentoring medical students and resident physicians in the art of dermatology. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

I loved Dr. Swali! I had just done my annual skincare checkup which I have never done before. She was super thorough, removed a pink fibrous papule from my nose, and helped out with my daily skincare regime! I actually could not recommend her enough. I even loved the nurse! And the office is super boujee.

I’m familiar with the location & after reading reviews and seeing Dr.Swali’s profile picture she represented professionalism, but also I saw a caring person, so I booked an appointment . When I entered the office it beautifully furnished, and filled with a refreshment area I was instantly greeted by the warmth of the front desk Staff who calmed my nerves, She along with the other Staff member were so pleasant I’m sorry I can’t remember her name, the Doctor’s assistant definitely helped My nerves, She was so understanding and kind, & patient. Now Dr. Swali was kind, understanding and she showed compassion & most of all she listened, and asked Me, what I wanted to do, and now I have a diagnosis and a treatment. I highly recommend her And will definitely be returning. .

I was apprehensive when I walked into the office and saw the line of skin products for sale. I was worried I'd get a hard sell about what to use. But that didn't happen, and I am thankful for that. Everything was easy going, and I was seen pretty quickly.

Awesome experience from check in to check out. The clinic itself was easy to find, very beautiful and clean. I went in to check on a weird looking mole I have, the doctor checked me all throughout my body for anything else that might look suspicious ; which I truly appreciate! They took a sample of my mole after numbing it, with minimal pain. The staff was so nice and helpful and even gave me tons of sunscreen samples and some anti dandruff shampoo samples as well. Highly recommend :)
