Dr. Rob Schuster is a board-certified bariatric and general surgeon with more than 20 years of experience helping patients transform their health through advanced surgical care. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and currently serves as a Clinical Professor of Surgery at multiple universities. Dr. Schuster has led bariatric surgery programs, trained residents and fellows, and earned repeated recognition as one of Arizona’s top surgeons. His expertise includes gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, duodenal switch, complex bariatric revisions, and excess skin removal after weight loss. He is also experienced in general, oncologic, endocrine and trauma surgery. Known for his approachable, thorough care, Dr. Schuster partners with each patient to create a safe, individualized plan that maximizes long-term success.
