“I had asked for a body scan to check for skin cancer. I asked if they took Avmed, l was told yes, l uploaded photos of my ins card. When l got there they couldn't find me in the system, then that l showed up as inactive. They called Avmed and finally after 30 mins of waiting l was told the Dr did not accept the type of Avmed l have. I was already there so l paid out of pocket. Dr. Bader was very nice, very thorough. The nurse in the room with us was excellent as well. Thank God he didn't find any suspicious looking moles, and made some good recommendations. l was told the office could send my records to a Dr that does accept Avmed Medicare Advantage. ”

Robert S. Bader, M.D. is an Ivy-League trained physician and surgeon who is a board-certified Dermatologist & Mohs' Surgeon. Aside from having training in Internal Medicine and Dermatology, Dr. Bader completed a fully accredited fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery under the auspices of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Bader has written several book chapters on cosmetic procedures and has authored numerous articles in well-respected medical journals. Dr. Bader has been an invited speaker at several national medical meetings and has shown his remarkable procedures on major television networks. In 2005, Dr. Bader was invited to be the official team Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon for the Florida Panthers NHL Hockey Team. Dr. Bader was named "One of America's Best Physicians" for 2004 through 2011.
