Getting to know Robert Chapman
~~Important Update for Texas Patients~~
Starting October 1, 2025, if you are prescribed Schedule II–V medications, you’ll need to have an IN-PERSON visit with your provider at least once every 12 months.
ADHD Evaluations- Our providers can evaluate and treat ADHD. If a stimulant (like Adderall or Vyvanse) is recommended, Texas law requires an in-person visit before it can be prescribed, and once every 12 months after. Non-stimulant options can be managed fully by telehealth.
If you wish to consider continuation of controlled medications from a previous provider, your first visit with us MUST BE IN PERSON
**IF YOU HAVE MEDICAID, WE CANNOT SEE YOU** We are NOT in-network with Medicaid or Medicare.***
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who is deeply committed to advocating for individuals who feel unheard and unseen, while promoting greater mental health awareness in our community. I began my nursing career as an LVN in Ohio and worked as a travel nurse, which eventually brought me to Texas. There, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. While working in the ICU, I continued my education at UTA and obtained my Master’s in Nursing, becoming a PMHNP. With a wealth of experience gained from living in many areas across the United States, I have developed a profound understanding of diverse communities and the mental health challenges they face.

Great doctor, he listens and is not judgemental. He suggested helpful things. He made the appointment feel natural and not as if I was a broken person but he made me matter.

I had a appointment for this morning, he never started our meeting so I called the office and unstead of making my call happen.. he just went in a did the next appointment and completely skipped over me. If I could leave 0 stars for him..I would! Very unprofessional

Very REAL. Spoke to me like I was a human and not another appointment to get through. Explained things thoroughly and detailed without using medical jargon I couldn’t understand. Very excited to get the care I need with a provider who is real.
