Getting to know Robert Chapman

~~Important Update for Texas Patients~~ Starting October 1, 2025, if you are prescribed Schedule II–V medications, you’ll need to have an IN-PERSON visit with your provider at least once every 12 months. ADHD Evaluations- Our providers can evaluate and treat ADHD. If a stimulant (like Adderall or Vyvanse) is recommended, Texas law requires an in-person visit before it can be prescribed, and once every 12 months after. Non-stimulant options can be managed fully by telehealth. If you wish to consider continuation of controlled medications from a previous provider, your first visit with us MUST BE IN PERSON **IF YOU HAVE MEDICAID, WE CANNOT SEE YOU** We are NOT in-network with Medicaid or Medicare.*** I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who is deeply committed to advocating for individuals who feel unheard and unseen, while promoting greater mental health awareness in our community. I began my nursing career as an LVN in Ohio and worked as a travel nurse, which eventually brought me to Texas. There, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. While working in the ICU, I continued my education at UTA and obtained my Master’s in Nursing, becoming a PMHNP. With a wealth of experience gained from living in many areas across the United States, I have developed a profound understanding of diverse communities and the mental health challenges they face.
