About Dr. Robert Craig Maccabee
Dr. Robert Craig Maccabee started Advanced Footcare and Sportsmedicine over twenty years ago with one purpose: to provide his patients the most complete and technologically advanced treatment not only for sports-related injuries but also for surgical care of the foot and ankle. He offers the highest standards of medical excellence and professionalism, combined with personal warmth and a genuinely caring attitude. Dr. Maccabee is one of only a handful of double board-certified foot and ankle specialists, having attained the highest level of achievement in cosmetic surgical training, advanced education, and clinical experience. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Maccabee is fortunate to have had great success helping many people experience what can be a painless postoperative recovery while achieving a cosmetically improved appearance.
