Dr. Robert Hawkins is a board-certified family physician who has practiced rural medicine for the past 15 years. His first four years of practice were in Orono, Maine, followed by 11 years at The Barton Clinic in Barton, Vermont. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2003 from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in South Florida and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine, where he also received an additional year of training in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Neuromuscular Medicine. Robert recently transitioned to Blue Spruce Medical because the organization supports his belief that two of the most important commodities in a person's life are time and relationships.
