About Dr. Robert Hitscherich

Robert M. Hitscherich, MD, is a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist and Internal Medicine physician. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University. He completed his internship at Cornell University and a three-year medical residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Hitscherich served as Assistant Chief Medical Resident at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He then spent two years as a clinical fellow in the Division of Digestive Diseases at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and The New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
