Robert Hong, M.D. Board Certified Radiation Oncologist – Chief Medical Officer – Founder, CRC Dr. Robert Hong is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia. He trained as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital, focusing on emerging diagnostic technologies. Following an internship at Johns Hopkins/Sinai, Dr. Hong completed his radiation oncology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois, where he served as Chief Resident and received the Radiological Society of North America’s Resident Research and Education Award. Dr. Hong is a nationally recognized speaker and published expert in advanced cancer treatment, breast and prostate oncology, and medical informatics. He has earned scholarships from the American College of Radiation Oncology and the American Brachytherapy Society. He is the Founder of Arlington Radiation Oncology (ARO) and serves as Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at both Virginia Hospital Center and Reston Hospital Center. He also holds clinical faculty positions at Georgetown University and George Washington University. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Hong has treated more than 10,000 patients using CyberKnife.
