Dr. Killian is the only doctor I will ever go to. He took the time to really listen to what I had to say and helped me come up with a plan that worked for me. You can tell that he genuinely cares about people and his patient-focused approach really helped me get my life back. He was incredibly knowledgeable and gave me a ton of information during the visit. I was impressed because he really took the time to get to know me and I could tell he was looking at the big picture. As a gay trans man, I strongly recommend him as a provider for my community. I was able to relax and just be myself (which is good because I wasn't feeling great). My identity was never in question; he saw me for me and he got it. I'm so used to doctors without trans experience that, I admit, his competency felt like a such a relief. I've never really felt like I could let my guard down around a doctor but every time I walk out of his office I feel really cared for. His whole team, really, is incredible. Doc is a really nice, down-to-earth guy. From his inviting demeanor to his non-judgmental attitude, it was easily the least stressful health provider appointment I can remember. He asked about me on a personal level, addressed any concerns I had, gave me very insightful and relevant medical information and made me feel like I can contact him directly at any time, assuring me that he’d always be there for me. What a great appointment! His knowledge is only rivaled by his compassion and warmth. He eased all my anxieties about having to find a doctor on the west coast, something that was actually stressing me out. Would I go back? Obviously, yes! I've been seeing Dr. Rob since I first moved to the area as an intern for a large eatside high tech company years ago. He came highly recommended by several people and is easily the single best medical decision I have ever made. He is very personable and reasonably accommodating of my need to make light of everything. He shows great care when discussing what I need to know and why--even when it's not necessarily what I want to hear.
