About Dr. Robert Lorenz
Robert Lorenz, MD is a dermatologist dedicated to compassionate and cooperative patient-driven care in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. His interests include skin cancer prevention and screening, inflammatory rashes, cosmetic injectables, and lasers.
Dr. Lorenz grew up in Texas and attended The University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate training. He received his medical degree at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston, where he served as president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He later completed a one-year medical internship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City and his advanced dermatology training at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Dr. Lorenz has trained at world-renowned institutions, including MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He has successfully presented cases and research at numerous regional and national dermatology conferences. He is a fellow of the America Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

It was just okay. He wasn’t as thorough as I expected. It was supposed to be an overall exam. I was asked to strip down to underwear, as is typical. But, he didn’t take a peek under there. It’s not the most pleasant chore, I know. But, in all seriousness, if I had a wart on my bum he never would have seen it.

Dr. Lorenz was great. It was a bit of a trek for me as I live in Murray Hill but it was well worth it. Chic looking office and nice staff. Dr. Lorenz validated my concerns and I wish I had seen him earlier. He was patient, friendly, explained everything very well, and I would definitely see him again! Thank you Dr. Lorenz!

I had a good first experience here. My derm doc was very nice and listened to all my questions and answered to the best of his knowledge. I appreciate his patience. I wanted something removed but he wanted to wait. That’s my only complaint. Cause now I’m going to have to go back.

Dr. Lorenz is a professional. He took a thorough history, explained his impression and discussed treatment options in a coherent, respectful manner. I admired his bedside manner and his ability to accomodate my work commitments.
His office was excellent; the nursing staff were exceptional, professional and I seriously have no complaints or room for improvement.

I wanted to go to the doctor for a skin check which you should get every year. The office was great had my paperwork right there and was super friendly. The nurse I dealt with was also great and efficient but friendly. The doctor was awesome, professional, and made sure I got all of my questions were answered and friendly. I was in and out quickly while feeling like I was heard. Thank you!
