About Dr. Robert Marten Sweet
Robert M. Sweet, M.D., is a UW professor of Urology and medical director for the Kidney Stone Center at UW Medical Center - Northwest. He also serves as the executive director for the WWAMI Institute for Simulation in Healthcare and the Center for Research in Education and Simulation Technology.
Dr. Sweet strives to provide humanistic, technologically advanced, data-driven, yet personalized care to each and every one of his patients.
He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Sweet co-founded the WWAMI Institute for Simulation in Healthcare at UW and is the principal investigator of numerous simulation research and development projects.
Dr. Sweet holds leadership positions in the American College of Surgeons, the Endourological Society, and the American Urological Association. He is the immediate past president of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
