Our experience at this office was extremely frustrating. Upon arrival, the receptionist could not find my daughter's appointment and even asked if we were another patient, giving us someone else's full name. Because my daughter is 16, Zocdoc required me to enter my information as the parent, but I completed all paperwork using my daughter's DOB, insurance, health history, and personal information.
After eventually finding the appointment, we were told to wait and complete additional paperwork. Once taken back, staff informed us that this dr does not usually see 16-yr olds but would likely make an exception since a parent was present. After another 15 minutes, she returned to tell us the dr would not see my daughter after all. The dr never came in to speak with us himself.
We traveled a significant distance, took time off work, completed paperwork, and waited, only to be turned away. This could have been communicated before the appointment and was a complete waste of our time.
